This privacy policy aims to give you information on how Stalar, provided by Stalar, collects and processes your personal data through your use of this service.

This website is not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect data relating to children.

By accessing or using Stalar Services, you acknowledge that you have read this privacy policy.  It is important that you read this privacy policy together with any other privacy policy or fair processing policy we may provide on specific occasions when we are collecting or processing personal data about you so that you are fully aware of how and why we are using your data.

Changes to the privacy policy and your duty to inform us of changes

We keep our privacy policy under regular review.  We may amend any of the terms of the privacy policy by posting the terms.  Your continued access to or use of the services after the date of the updated policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.  If you do not agree to the updated policy, you must stop accessing or using the services.

It is important that the personal data we hold about you are accurate and current.  Please keep us informed if your personal data changes during your relationship with us.

2.              THE DATA WE COLLECT ABOUT YOU

Personal data, or personal information, means any information about an individual from which that person can be identified.  It does not include data where the identity has been removed (anonymous data).

We may collect, use, store and transfer different kinds of personal data about you which we have grouped together as follows:

         Profile information, we will collect information from third-party service providers when you authorize us to do so.  For example, if you log in Stalar through third-party service providers, such as Imo, you authorize us to collect information from such third-party application account, including nickname, profile image and UID of Imo.

         Device identifiers, including operating system version, device model, type, brand of devices, serial number of your device. 

         Payment information, including bank account number or other payment information where required for the purpose of payment.

         Delivery information, including delivery address, country, telephone/phone number.  Note that for users domiciled in the Saudi Arabia, we will need to collect your identity number if the amount of your purchased goods/services exceeds 1000 SAR for import compliance requirements.

         Network activity information, such as your browsing history, search history, the pages you visited, and the date and time of your visits.

3.              HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL DATA

We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to. Most commonly, we will use your personal data in the following circumstances:

         Where you consent to provide with us of such personal data.

         Where we need to perform the contract we are about to enter into or have entered into with you.

         Where it is necessary for our legitimate interests (or those of a third party) and your interests and fundamental rights do not override those interests.

         Where we need to comply with a legal obligation.

We describe below the purposes we plan to use your personal data.

                 Provision of services: to present our service to you, including any goods/services on Stalar, and to provide you with information, products or services that may interest you.

                 Improvement of services: to improve and personalize our services by presenting new services, information, recommendations, and feedback;

                 Customer management: to manage a registered user’s account, to provide customer support and notices to the registered user about his account or subscription, and notices about changes to Stalar or any other product or service we offer or provide through it;

                 Communication: to communicate and interact with you directly, for an example, we may send notifications regarding upcoming changes, promotion activities or improvements on Stalar;

                 Customization of content: to perform research and analysis about your use of, or interest in contents, products, advertising, or services available on Stalar Services in order to develop and display content tailored to your interests on our website

                 Functionality and security: to diagnose or fix technology problems, and to detect, prevent, and respond to actual or potential fraud, illegal activities;

                 Compliance: to enforce our terms of use and to comply with our legal obligations;

                 Aggregation: to aggregate information we collect about you to which one or more purposes described above.

         Cookies: We will collect cookies during your use of Stalar Services. Cookies are small pieces of data to enable us to provide certain features, which are collected by us or our business partners to measure and understand how you use Stalar, enhance your experience using Stalar.

We may also collect, use and share your information to produce and share aggregated insights that do not identify you. Aggregated data may be derived from your personal data but is not considered personal data as this data do not directly or indirectly reveal your identity.  For example, we may aggregate your usage data to calculate the percentage of users accessing a specific website feature, to generate statistics about our users, to calculate the percentage of users accessing a specific website feature, or to calculate ad impressions served or clicked on.

4.              HOW WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL DATA

We may share your personal data with certain authorized third parties to assist in the improvement and optimization of Stalar, in order to prevent illegal uses, increase user numbers, development, engineering and analysis of information or for our internal business purposes, including but not limited to:

                 to our business partners so that we can improve our services;

                 to analytics and search engine providers that assist us in the optimization and improvement of the user experience on our Services;

                 to any member, subsidiary, parent, or affiliate of our corporate group, to improve, optimize the Stalar and to prevent illegal use.

         to third parties to whom we may choose to sell, transfer or merge parts of our business or our assets. Alternatively, we may seek to acquire other businesses or merge with them. If a change happens to our business, then the new owners may use your personal data in the same way as set out in this privacy policy.

Except for the above, we will not disclose or share with any third party your personal information, unless under the following circumstances:

                 if we obtained your consent, either implied or express;

                 if we are required to do so in order to comply with the applicable laws and regulations and government requests;

                 if we believe in our good faith that this is necessary to protect the public interest;

We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed.  In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality.  In addition, we use encryption in the transmission of certain your personal information between your system and ours, and we use firewalls to help prevent unauthorized persons from gaining access to your personal information.  Please be advised, however, that we cannot fully eliminate security risks associated with the storage and transmission of your personal information.  You should use caution whenever submitting information through our Services and take special care in deciding which information you provide us with.

7.              DATA RETENTION

How long will you use my personal data for?

We will only retain your personal data for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, for contractual obligations and rights in relation to the information involved, or for the purposes of satisfying any legal, regulatory, tax, accounting or reporting requirements.  We may retain your personal data for a longer period in the event of a complaint or if we reasonably believe there is a prospect of litigation in respect to our relationship with you.

To determine the appropriate retention period for personal data, we consider the amount, nature and sensitivity of the personal data, the potential risk of harm from unauthorised use or disclosure of your personal data, the purposes for which we process your personal data and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means, and the applicable legal, regulatory, tax, accounting or other requirements.

What we may need from you

We may need to request specific information from you to help us confirm your identity and ensure your right to access your personal data (or to exercise any of your other rights).  This is a security measure to ensure that personal data is not disclosed to any person who has no right to receive it.  We may also contact you to ask you for further information in relation to your request to speed up our response.

                 access to your personal data that you have provided with us by logging into your account and using the features and functionalities available there.

                 rectify your personal data retained on Stalar.

                 delete your acount, you will need to follow our instructions in order to delete your account.  Once your account is deleted, you will not be able to restore your account and all your historical data on Stalar will be deleted after certain period of time (usually within 12 months), expect for certain behavioral data which will be anonymized for statistical research.  

9.              CHILDREN PROTECTION

Stalar is not directed to children, and if you are under the minimum age as required by the laws of the state of your domicile, you may not create use Stalar.  We have zero tolerance to any form of child abuse or exploitation.  Your data may be shared with legal agencies if we in our good faith believe that you have engaged in child abuse, or if we are requested to do so by relevant legal agencies.
